Old Henbury/New Henbury
I was given a task to visit a place in Bristol. I then had to create a double sided folding poster using 10 statements that I had gathered from the locals in the area.
This blog has been set up to document the success of my poster in the area that it is based on.
Upon researching the area, I found out and was told that there are two very different sides to Henbury. Blaise is a scenic, beautiful area that attracts people to it’s old fashioned scenery, where as the high street and surrounding areas of Henbury have been given a bland tag. Supermarket chains and other brands have taken over to make the town just like any other.
I decided to focus on this as my theme and set out to create a poster that also has two very different sides. One side would look quite generic and boring where as the other would be a bit more pleasing to the eye and feature a design style that would look nicer.
